ITOG collects personal information from users only when you voluntarily provide us with such information when registering for an account or similar service. We use this information in order to provide you with the best possible experience on the site, including providing you with a variety of customized content. ITOG is the sole user of this information, and will never sell or generally make available your information to a third party. We may share aggregated, non-personal information about our user base in general to a third party at some point in the future.
ITOG's Use of your Email Address
ITOG requires all users who register an account to submit a valid email address. This helps to ensure that automated programs or nefarious individuals can't easily register large numbers of accounts to distort the ITOG ratings or harass ITOG users. In addition, having your email address on file ensures that, in case you forget your password, ITOG can securely reset it and allow you to regain access to your account. ITOG will occasionally send out notifications to members with accounts. However, ITOG notifications will be infrequent, and you can opt out of any and all ITOG emails by deselecting the "receive emails" option on your Preferences page.
ITOG's Use of your Postal Code
ITOG collects postal codes from users when new accounts are registered. This will allow ITOG to provide a great deal of customized content in the future, including movie showtimes and other local events.
